If there is a constant in healthcare, it is change.  In today’s healthcare environment it is changing and the future of health care is being shaped by many forces.  As Covey states, “an organization succeeds through change only because each person understands their role and sees their participation as something larger than themselves”.

Your Medical Center understands we are part of something larger – we are part of a community.  That is why we began and achieved our Level IV trauma designation; we constantly train our staff to improve their skill sets; and added a Dental program to name a few.

Over the next several months we will be working vigilantly on a strategic plan as well as a vision.  We will be calling upon the community involvement in this process and once the process is complete it will be imperative that each of you be able to observe the direction of your medical center.
