GCMC is a certified Level IV trauma center. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), a Level IV trauma center provides advanced trauma life support prior to patient transfer in remote areas in which no higher level of care is available.

In an emergency we know you want the best care possible; we also know that a trip to the emergency department can be stressful.

At GCMC, you can be confident that our staff is dedicated to providing the expert care that you expect — quickly and efficiently. Our team of medical specialists, highly trained nurses and medical assistants is on duty 24 hours a day, every day to meet your family’s urgent and emergent medical needs.
