Edward Amberg, PA-C

Edward Amberg, PA-C

I was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana. I graduated from Montana Tech in Occupational Safety and Health, and then earned my Masters of Medical Science degree from Midwestern University. Upon graduating from PA school I completed the Emergency Medicine Graduate Certificate program through West Virginia University, and earned my Certificate of Additional Qualifications from the National Certification Council of Physician Assistants, one of the first three in the state of Montana. I also volunteer as medical director for several local area EMS agencies including Georgetown Lake Volunteer Fire Department and Discover Ski Hill. While emergency and critical care medicine are areas of medicine that I truly enjoy, but I also am very interested in occupational and preventative medicines as well. I am also one of the few National Registered Certified Medical Examiners for the Department of Transportation in this area of Montana, enabling me to perform DOT physical exams and certification exams.

When not working in or with medicine I am very active in my local communities as a member of several civic groups, volunteer for the local schools and anything else I can find that needs a hand. Both my wife and I grew up in this area of Montana so we share a passion for the area and its residences as well as the outdoors, and everything that this area has to offer.
